This medication may cause a serious lung disease called interstitial pneumonia, so if symptoms such as fever, cough, or difficulty breathing occur, stop taking it immediately and consult with a specialist. Those taking interferon preparations or with cirrhosis, liver cancer should not take this medication, and individuals with severely impaired liver function due to chronic hepatitis should avoid it as well. Individuals with a genetic issue that prevents lactose breakdown should not take this medication. While taking this medication, do not take interferon preparations together, as this may increase the risk of interstitial pneumonia. Individuals with high blood pressure or heart, kidney diseases, those with edema or taking other medications, elderly people, pregnant women or those who might become pregnant, children, individuals with very weak physical strength, those with impaired liver function, and those who have previously experienced skin rash or itching from medications must consult with a specialist before taking. If symptoms such as swelling of the face or hands and feet, increased blood pressure, muscle weakness or pain, digestive disturbances, skin rashes, urination abnormalities, or liver function anomalies occur while taking, stop immediately and consult with a specialist. If symptoms do not improve, do not take for more than one month, and in case of symptoms from a cold, it is advisable not to take for more than one week. If taken for a prolonged period, consult with a specialist, and adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration. When taken with potassium-containing preparations or certain diuretics, muscle weakness may occur; caution is advised. When taking with other herbal remedies, verify if there are overlapping ingredients, and patients with chronic hepatitis should have their platelet count monitored regularly. During storage, keep in a cool and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, out of reach of children, and tightly closed in the original container.
