This medication helps relieve the symptoms of osteoarthritis, reducing joint pain and stiffness to allow for a more comfortable daily life. It improves joint function and reduces inflammation to facilitate smoother movement. Additionally, it aids in relieving pressure on the tissues surrounding the joints, helping to prevent symptom recurrence. Patients can improve their overall joint health by taking this medication consistently. This medication is used effectively to alleviate the uncomfortable symptoms of osteoarthritis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults take 1 tablet twice a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. Patients who have had allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to this medicine or any of its ingredients should not take it. Patients with peptic ulcers, severe cardiovascular diseases, liver dysfunction, or kidney impairment should also avoid this medication. Patients who have had allergic reactions to COX-2 inhibitors, sulfonamides, aspirin, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication due to the risk of miscarriage or premature birth associated with its herbal ingredients. Additionally, patients allergic to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should not use this medication. This medication should be administered with caution in certain patients. When it comes to patients with a history of peptic ulcers, cardiovascular disease, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, bronchial asthma, or those taking psychiatric medications, safety and efficacy have not been established, thus caution is warranted. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders, such as hyperlipidemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis should also be administered this medication carefully. Various adverse reactions may occur while taking this medication. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as heartburn, indigestion, dry mouth, nausea, and diarrhea may occur. Facial swelling or generalized edema and feelings of weakness may also occur, albeit rarely. Reports of decreased white blood cells or neutrophils have been noted in blood tests, as well as rare symptoms including itching, headaches, upper respiratory infections, and blurred vision. Clinical trials and post-marketing surveillance have reported serious adverse events in some patients, including gastric bleeding, colon polyps, gastroesophageal reflux, fractures, liver abscess, and pneumonia, although a direct causal relationship with this medication has not been confirmed. Unexpected adverse reactions such as colds, epigastric discomfort, hives, constipation, and gastritis have been reported. While taking this medication, patients with a history of peptic ulcers should be particularly cautious about heartburn or indigestion symptoms. Patients with fluid retention or heart failure should be attentive to signs of edema. Those who frequently consume alcohol should be cautious of the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. Additionally, safety has not been confirmed with concomitant use of corticosteroids, hyaluronic acid injections, or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, requiring caution. If signs of cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, liver, or kidney dysfunction appear while taking this medication, you should consult your doctor immediately. Regular blood tests, liver and kidney function tests, and electrocardiograms to check for abnormalities are recommended. In the event of a serious allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis, immediate emergency treatment should be sought. This medication is not to be used as a substitute for corticosteroids or in the treatment of corticosteroid deficiency. If dizziness or drowsiness occurs while taking this medication, avoid driving or operating machinery. The ingredients of Angelica Gigantis and Gastrodia Elata contained in this medication may cause loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea in people with weak stomachs, so it is advisable to consult a specialist before taking it, and if symptoms develop, you should stop taking it and consult the specialist. Rashes may result from the Gastrodia Elata component, in which case you should also discontinue use and seek consultation. Patients at risk of lipid overload should monitor their plasma lipid levels and adjust dosages as necessary. If using with other lipid-injectable medications, dosage adjustments should be made considering the total lipid load. Research on interactions between this medication and other drugs has not yet been conducted. The use of this medication is not recommended due to a lack of experience in administering it to pregnant women, women of childbearing potential who are not using contraception, or nursing mothers; it is safest to discontinue breastfeeding while on this medication. There is no data on the safety and efficacy of this medication in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents, so its use in this age group is not recommended. Elderly patients may experience adverse reactions more frequently, so careful monitoring during administration is advised. In case of overdose, immediate medical evaluation and treatment should be sought. Finally, this medication should be kept out of reach of children, and it is advisable to avoid transferring it to another container to maintain quality and safety.
