This medication is used to treat epithelial damage in the conjunctiva caused by both endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucosal skin syndrome, and dry eye syndrome, as well as exogenous epithelial damage resulting from surgery, drug side effects, trauma, and contact lens wear.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop each of 0.1% or 0.3% solution 5-6 times a day. Adjust appropriately based on symptoms. Typically, the 0.1% solution is administered, and the 0.3% solution is given when the therapeutic effect is insufficient in case of severe disease.

Precautions

This medication is an eye drop for use in the eyes. It should not be used by individuals who are allergic to any ingredients contained in this medication or to protein-based drugs. Eye symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, redness, corneal problems, or a feeling of foreign body or pain in the eye may occur during use; in these cases, use should be stopped immediately and a doctor should be consulted. Additionally, hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, so caution is required. When using this medication with other eye medications, it should be administered with a 30-minute interval, and simultaneous application is not recommended. This medication is for use only in the eyes, and care should be taken to avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eye or eyelashes. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should not be instilled into the eye and should be discarded, and any remaining medication after opening should not be reused and should be discarded immediately. It should also be avoided to share it to prevent contamination. When storing, keep out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool place. Furthermore, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container as it may deteriorate the quality of the medication.
