Relief of dermatitis and eczema-related symptoms (itching, insect bites, etc.)
This medication is used to relieve symptoms associated with skin conditions like eczema or dermatitis, itching of the skin, and insect bites.
Shake well before use, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once a day, 1-3 times, and adjust as needed according to symptoms.
This medication should not be used in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals. Patients who have had an allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to this drug or its components should also avoid use. It is advisable not to use it in patients with allergic otitis externa with perforation of the eardrum as healing may be delayed. Patients with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite should avoid use as skin regeneration may be delayed. It is also safe to avoid use in patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, rosacea, or non-inflammatory pruritus. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant and nursing mothers should exercise caution while using this medication, and it is important to consult a physician before use. Children under 2 years old and the elderly should be carefully assessed before using this medication, particularly since children have delicate skin and a higher risk of side effects. If allergic reactions occur to the propylene glycol component of this medication, caution should be exercised. Using this medication may worsen skin infections, so it is advisable to first treat any infected area with appropriate antibacterial or antifungal agents or to use them together. Long-term or extensive use may lead to systemic absorption of steroids, resulting in side effects such as adrenal suppression, weight gain, and increased blood sugar, so periodic testing is necessary. If any abnormal symptoms such as itching, rash, irritation, swelling, or redness appear on the skin, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Particularly, if used on the face for a long time, side effects such as skin atrophy or pigmentation changes may occur, so caution is required. Pregnant women should carefully consider the risks to the fetus and should use the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible, while nursing mothers should use it cautiously to avoid transmission to the baby. In children, there is a risk of adrenal suppression or growth impairment, so long-term use should be avoided, and it is advisable not to use it in areas covered by diapers. Elderly patients may experience side effects more readily, so when using large amounts or for prolonged periods, careful monitoring is necessary. In case of overdose, systemic steroid effects may appear, so the prescribed dose and duration must be strictly adhered to, and if side effects are suspected, medical consultation should be sought immediately. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes, and it should not be applied casually after makeup or shaving, while occlusive dressings should be used according to a doctor's instructions. Store in a safe place out of the reach of children, and caution is needed as prolonged use in psoriasis patients may worsen skin symptoms.
