This medication is effectively used for gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease. It also alleviates the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease and assists in long-term maintenance therapy. In patients with gastrointestinal ulcers due to Helicobacter pylori infection, it can be combined with antibiotics for treatment. It is also applicable for the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, controlling excessive gastric acid secretion. Overall, this drug is used for the treatment and symptom improvement of various gastrointestinal-related diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

For gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers: Administer 10 mg orally once daily. Depending on symptoms, it may be increased to 20 mg orally once daily. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer 10 mg or 20 mg once daily for 4 to 8 weeks, and if not resolved after 8 weeks, additional 10 mg or 20 mg may be taken orally twice daily for 8 weeks. Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to certain components or benzimidazole derivatives.
