This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of colds including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 years and older and adults: 2 capsules, three times daily, taken 30 minutes after meals

Child dose

Ages 8 to under 15 years: 1 capsule, three times daily, taken 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication can cause liver damage if taken by those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is necessary. This medication contains acetaminophen and may rarely cause serious skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and toxic epidermal necrolysis, so it is important to stop taking it immediately if a skin rash or hypersensitivity reaction occurs. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000mg, and to prevent liver damage, do not take this medication in combination with other products containing acetaminophen. When taking medications containing pseudoephedrine, serious skin adverse reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis may occur, so if fever, red spots, or small blisters appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. This medication should not be taken by individuals with a specific allergy history, infants under 3 months of age, those taking MAO inhibitors, or individuals with severe hypertension or serious kidney disease. During treatment, it is safe not to take cough medications, expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretics analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Children suspected of having or who have had chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific allergic constitution, liver or kidney disease, hypertension, diabetes, or chronic diseases should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If rash, itching, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, or other abnormal symptoms occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist, and in severe cases, emergency treatment may be necessary. Children under 2 years old should generally not use this medication, and if absolutely necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. This medication should be strictly used according to the prescribed dosage and duration, should not be taken for extended periods, and alcohol should be avoided during use. Drowsiness may occur, so it is recommended to avoid driving or operating machinery. Since this medication may affect the metabolism of certain drugs, inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medications. Store this medication out of reach of children, protect it from direct sunlight, and keep it tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other products containing acetaminophen, MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or anti-Parkinson's medications), cough and cold medications, antipyretics analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Avoid taking this medication for two weeks after discontinuing MAO inhibitors. Diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates.

Food interactions

Do not take this medication with alcohol.
