This medication is used to treat epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome and Stevens-Johnson syndrome as well as exogenous diseases caused by postoperative trauma, medication use, or contact lens wear.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

1 drop for each application, 5-6 times a day. Adjust as needed according to symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients allergic to protein-based medications or its components. Side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, corneal issues, foreign body sensation, discharge, and eye pain may occur; if such symptoms arise, discontinue use and seek appropriate treatment. Occasionally, inflammation of the eyelids or dermatitis may occur; if such symptoms occur, stop using immediately and seek treatment. Particular caution is advised as the incidence of side effects may increase when used with steroid preparations, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract medications, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This medication should not be used simultaneously with other eye drops; if they must be used together, the other eye drop should be used first, followed by this medication about 30 minutes later. This medication is for ophthalmic use only, and care should be taken to prevent the tip of the container from touching the eyelids or eyelashes to avoid contamination. For single-use products, discard the first 1-2 drops to eliminate any possible container fragments, and it is advisable not to share it with others to prevent contamination. After opening, it should be used just once and the remaining solution and container should be discarded. Store out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain the drug's quality, it should not be transferred to other containers.
