How to take

Adult dose

Ages 8 and older, and adults: Take 2 tablets once daily after meals.

Ages 8 and older: Take 2 tablets once daily after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, or renal disease. Also, those who are allergic to this drug or its ingredients, infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, or those showing severe renal failure symptoms should avoid taking this medication. While taking this drug, it is advisable not to take other medications like phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline drugs, and antacids. Additionally, excessive intake may lead to gastrointestinal symptoms or heart problems, such as edema, so caution is required. Long-term use can result in hypercalcemia or stone formation, necessitating regular monitoring of the condition. Caution should also be exercised if taken with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene, as this can increase potassium levels in the blood. If experiencing overdosing symptoms or if symptoms do not improve after about a month of use, consult a professional. This drug should be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and method, and when administered to children, adult supervision is required. It is also advisable to avoid consuming tannin-containing teas, such as green or black tea, during treatment.
