Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (excess calcium in blood), patients with sarcoidosis (a disease causing systemic inflammation with an unknown cause), and patients with kidney disease. Additionally, those allergic to this medication or its components, infants under 3 months of age, and patients with kidney stones should also avoid taking it. Do not take this medication together with levodopa. Infants under 1 year of age, patients currently receiving treatment from a physician, children who receive ample sunlight and normal nutrition, pregnant women or women who could become pregnant, lactating women, and individuals with a history of kidney stones should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Care is especially needed as the vitamin D component can be transmitted through breast milk to the infant, potentially causing hypercalcemia. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomatitis, skin rashes or itching, or edema occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, long-term use of high doses of vitamin B6 may cause nerve disorders, and exceeding a certain dose of vitamin B12 may cause blood abnormalities, so caution is advised. High doses may lead to peptic ulcers, blood sugar regulation disorders, hyperuricemia, or liver damage; therefore, the recommended dosage and method should be strictly observed. When administering to children, supervision by a guardian is required, and this medication may turn urine yellow, affecting some clinical test results. Store in a sealed container, out of the reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, do not transfer to another container.
