Improvement of epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva (both endogenous and exogenous conditions)
This medication is used to treat epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous conditions such as Sjögren's syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and dry eye syndrome, as well as those arising from exogenous factors like surgery, medication use, trauma, and contact lens wear.
1 drop at a time, administered 5-6 times a day. Adjust as appropriate according to symptoms.
This medication is an eye drop solution with sodium hyaluronate as its main ingredient, used to relieve dryness or irritation of the eyes. First, it should not be used by patients who are allergic to any components or protein-based medications, as they may experience hypersensitivity reactions. During use, symptoms such as occasional eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, redness, corneal disturbances, and a foreign body sensation may occur. Rarely, discharge or eye pain may develop; if these symptoms arise, the use should be halted immediately, and a physician should be consulted. Additionally, eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may sometimes occur, and if this happens, drug use should be stopped and appropriate treatment should be sought. Caution should be observed when using this medication in conjunction with steroids, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract treatments, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), as adverse reactions may be more pronounced. It is advisable not to use this eye drop solution concurrently with other eye drops; if they must be used together, the other drops should be administered first, followed by this medication after approximately 30 minutes. This medication should only be used in the eyes, and care should be taken to avoid contact of the container tip with the eyelids or eyelashes, as this could contaminate the solution. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded, and after opening, the remaining solution and container should be disposed of immediately. It is also safer not to share the product with others, if possible. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool place. Transferring the medication to another container may pose a risk of misuse or degrade the quality, so it must be stored in its original container.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication can deteriorate due to air or moisture and should be stored in a sealed container. The appropriate storage temperature is in a cool place between 1 degree and 25 degrees.
