This medication alleviates the symptoms of osteoarthritis by reducing joint pain and stiffness, thereby improving the discomfort in daily life. Therefore, it is used for the relief of osteoarthritis symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults take 1 tablet twice daily.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to this drug or any of its components. It is also not safe to administer to patients with a history of peptic ulcer, serious cardiovascular diseases, liver dysfunction, or kidney dysfunction. Patients who have had allergic reactions to similar classes of drugs or to aspirin in the past should also avoid using this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid this medication due to the herbal ingredients which may pose a risk of miscarriage or premature birth. Individuals with allergies to soybean oil, soybeans, peanuts, and similar substances are also advised not to use this drug. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders or those who require lipids emulsions should also be cautious while using this medication. Adverse gastrointestinal symptoms such as heartburn, dyspepsia, dry mouth, nausea, and diarrhea may occur with this medication. Reports of adverse reactions have included swelling of the face or body, fatigue, changes in blood counts, itching, headaches, and blurred vision. Severe adverse reactions are rare but can include symptoms such as gastrointestinal bleeding, fractures, and infections; if any unusual symptoms occur, immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is necessary. Patients are advised to refrain from drinking alcohol while on this medication due to the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. Caution is needed when taken with other anti-inflammatory pain relievers, such as corticosteroids and aspirin, since safety has not been established.
