Cilostazol monotherapy is used to improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and cold sensation due to chronic arterial occlusive disease, but if the effect is insufficient, combination therapy using cilostazol and ginkgo biloba extract is recommended as an alternative therapy. Additionally, cilostazol monotherapy is used to prevent recurrence after the onset of cerebral infarction, excluding cardiogenic cerebral embolism, but combination therapy may also be effective in this case. This combination therapy is used to improve symptoms more effectively and prevent recurrence.
