This medication is used to prevent the occurrence of asthma and to provide long-term treatment. It also helps to alleviate symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, making it effective for improving respiratory allergy symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication is taken once daily. For asthma patients, it should be taken in the evening. For allergic rhinitis patients, the timing of the dose is determined based on the patient's condition. Patients with both asthma and allergic rhinitis should take 1 tablet in the evening once daily. This medication should be administered 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals.

Child dose

Precautions

This medication may cause significant neuropsychiatric symptoms; therefore, if you experience mental changes such as anxiety, depression, agitation, or suicidal thoughts during treatment, consult your doctor immediately. This medication contains aspartame, an artificial sweetener, and should be avoided by patients with phenylketonuria, a hereditary disease. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication or its components should not use it. For asthma patients, this medication is not intended for the treatment of acute asthma attacks, so always carry a rescue inhaler. Do not abruptly discontinue inhaled corticosteroids or switch to this medication without following your doctor's guidance on tapering. Patients who have a hypersensitivity reaction to aspirin should avoid taking aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs during treatment with this medication.
