This medicine is used to relieve gastrointestinal symptoms such as excessive stomach acid, heartburn, and belching.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 16 and older, 1 tablet (75 mg) may be taken at a time, up to 2 tablets (150 mg) per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had an allergic reaction to any of its components. If you have difficulty swallowing food or experience pain while swallowing, or have hematemesis or bloody stools, you must consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is important to consult a professional if heartburn persists for more than 3 months, or is accompanied by dizziness, cold sweats, or fainting. If you experience pain in your chest or shoulders and difficulty breathing, or if chest pain occurs frequently, you must consult a healthcare provider before taking this medication. If you experience unexpected weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist. Patients taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or with a history of drug allergies should also consult a professional before taking this medication. If you have kidney or liver function issues or are elderly, or have a history of acute porphyria, you must consult a healthcare provider before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breastfeeding should consult a doctor before taking this medication, as it can pass through the placenta or into breast milk. This medication may interact with other drugs, so if you are taking other medications, you should consult a professional. If symptoms persist or worsen while taking this medication, you should stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist, and it should not be used for more than 14 days continuously. If you experience serious allergic reactions such as hives, rash, difficulty breathing, or chest pain while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and inform your healthcare provider. Various side effects such as blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, heart problems, gastrointestinal symptoms, neurological symptoms, endocrine disorders, myalgia, skin rashes, etc., can occur, so if you notice any abnormal symptoms, consult a professional immediately. This medication may mask the symptoms of stomach cancer, so it should only be used temporarily for symptomatic relief. When taken with high doses of certain medications, absorption may decrease, so it is advised to space doses about 2 hours apart. In cases of overdose, appropriate treatment such as vomiting or gastric lavage may be required, and blood dialysis may be necessary. Do not take this medication with alcoholic beverages, and if there is any change in your condition after taking it, consult your healthcare provider immediately. Elderly patients or those with chronic lung disease, diabetes, or weakened immune systems may have an increased risk of pneumonia when taking this medication, so caution is necessary.
