This medication is used to relieve nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and the feeling of heaviness in the head caused by a common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For adolescents or adults aged 12 years and older, spray 1 time in each nasal cavity (nose) up to 3 times daily. The interval between applications should be at least 8 hours.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by children under 12 years of age. Additionally, it should be avoided by anyone who has had an allergic reaction to this medication or its ingredients. Individuals currently taking or who have stopped taking MAO inhibitors, such as antidepressants or antipsychotics within the last two weeks, should not use this medication. Those who have had brain surgery or have closed-angle glaucoma may also be at risk when using this medication. Patients suffering from dry nasal mucosa or atrophic rhinitis, as well as those with certain tumors or benign prostatic hyperplasia, should not use this medication. Before using this medication, individuals with a history of drug allergies or an allergic constitution should consult a physician or pharmacist. Patients with high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, or glaucoma should exercise caution. Care should be taken when using this medication for patients currently taking certain antidepressants or showing sensitivity to adrenaline. Pregnant or potentially pregnant women, as well as nursing mothers, should follow the guidance of a healthcare professional. Patients undergoing treatment or experiencing certain types of cough should also consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. If skin rash, swelling, or itching occurs while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after three days of use, consult a physician. Rarely, severe symptoms such as severe headache, nausea, or visual disturbances may occur; in such cases, stop using the medication immediately and consult medical personnel. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and method, as excessive use may worsen nasal congestion. It should only be used in the nose and not in the eyes or ears. Avoid concurrent use and it is advisable not to continue use for more than 7 days. It is safe not to drink alcohol while using this medication. When used by children, it should be done under the supervision of an adult, and caution is needed as the ingredients may cause bronchospasm or irritation of the nasal mucosa. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place. Additionally, it should not be transferred to another container to maintain its quality.
