Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (diseased area) 1 to several times a day. Adjust the dosage appropriately based on age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used in patients with infections in the mouth, such as tuberculosis, viral, or fungal infections. Additionally, it should be avoided in patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or have syphilis, varicella, fungal infections, bacterial skin infections, perioral dermatitis, rosacea, or gum inflammation due to vitamin C deficiency. If there is a fungal or bacterial infection in the mouth when using this medication, it should be used together with antifungals or antibiotics and discontinued if symptoms do not improve. Moreover, there may be a feeling of numbness or discomfort in the mouth, and taste may be abnormal or diminished. Rarely, allergic skin reactions may occur, so discontinue use if such symptoms appear. Prolonged use may affect the body's hormonal regulation and result in atopic dermatitis, telangiectasia, striae, steroid acne, perioral dermatitis, and excessive hair growth. This medication contains propylene glycol, so caution is advised for individuals allergic to this component. In principle, this medication should not be used when there is an infection in the mouth; however, if necessary, it should be treated or used together with appropriate antibacterial or antifungal agents beforehand. It is advised not to eat immediately after applying the medication, and a feeling of discomfort may occur at the application site. This medication is not for use in the eyes; therefore, it should not be used for ophthalmic purposes. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use it cautiously, as it may harm the fetus, and should avoid excessive or prolonged use. If children or adolescents use it for an extended period, it may affect their growth, so excessive or prolonged use should be avoided. Elderly individuals using it for long durations should be cautious due to the risk of infections, diabetes, bone weakening, hypertension, cataracts, and glaucoma.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent contact with air or moisture, and it is best to keep it at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will help maintain the effectiveness of the medication for a long time.
