How to take

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm or death to the fetus and newborn when taken during the second or third trimesters of pregnancy, so treatment should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients with allergies to any components of this medication, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients undergoing kidney dialysis, patients with severe liver impairment, or patients with biliary obstruction should not take this drug. Since this medication contains lactose, patients with genetic disorders such as galactose intolerance or lactase deficiency should not take it. Patients with low blood volume or reduced salt levels may experience low blood pressure when starting this medication, so appropriate measures should be taken before taking it, and their condition should be closely monitored. This medication may affect kidney function, so patients with impaired kidney function should frequently check their kidney status through blood tests and should avoid using it in cases of severe kidney impairment. There is a risk of hyperkalemia, so patients with heart or kidney disease should periodically test their serum potassium levels. Patients with aortic or mitral stenosis and obstructive cardiomyopathy should take special precautions while using this medication, as blood pressure reduction may cause dizziness, so they should avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery. Common mild side effects include dizziness, headaches, dyspepsia, muscle pain, and rashes, while rare serious side effects such as angioedema or abnormal liver function have also been reported. Dizziness, headache, palpitations, hypercholesterolemia, hyperlipidemia, hyperuricemia, joint pain, arthritis, muscle pain, rash, nausea, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, gastroenteritis, diarrhea, hematuria, hyperglycemia, influenza-like symptoms, pharyngitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, cough, elevated blood pressure, low back pain, chest pain, peripheral edema, itching, epistaxis, upper respiratory infection, asthma, hair loss, chronic malabsorption syndrome-like intestinal disease.
