Relief of acute bronchitis symptoms
Acute bronchitis is an inflammatory disease of the bronchi that primarily occurs due to infection. This condition can cause symptoms such as cough, phlegm, and difficulty breathing. The medication helps alleviate inflammation and reduce symptoms. Generally, medications used in the treatment of acute bronchitis aim to provide cough relief and improve respiratory function. Therefore, they are utilized effectively to improve the symptoms of acute bronchitis.
Adults and those aged 12 and older: 1 tablet per dose, taken 3 times a day with a small amount of water.
This medication is not safe for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients with a tendency to bleed or those taking anticoagulant medications should also not use this drug. Use of this medication is not suitable for patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function. Individuals with allergic reactions to this medication's components should avoid taking it. Children under 12 years old should preferably not take this drug. This medication contains lactose, therefore it should not be administered to patients with genetic disorders that prevent the digestion of lactose. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur, so caution is advised. Occasionally, gum bleeding or nosebleeds may occur, and allergic reactions such as skin rashes or itching may also rarely happen. Very rarely, serious allergic reactions may occur, characterized by facial swelling, difficulty breathing, and a drop in blood pressure, so caution is necessary. Symptoms indicating impaired liver function may appear, such as jaundice or dark urine, abdominal pain, and decreased appetite, in which case usage should be stopped immediately. Platelet counts may decrease, but this could also be due to other causes. There have been no interactions reported with other medications, but caution is needed when taken alongside medications that may affect blood coagulation. Safety has not been established during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so it is best to avoid use. Overdosing could lead to severe side effects; thus, consulting a doctor is important. Keep out of reach of children, and avoid transferring to other containers. The effects on driving or operating machinery are not known, but it is advisable to take caution while using.
