Adult dose

Adults: 2g per dose, 3 times a day (4g for the first dose)

Child dose

Children: 1g per dose, 3 times a day

This drug can be used with certain antibiotics, but it is recommended not to take it with medications such as ciprofloxacin, imipenem, and cilastatin sodium. This drug should be used with caution in patients receiving treatment from a physician. This drug contains lactose, so it should not be used in patients with genetic conditions that prevent lactose digestion. When taking the medication, it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration; if symptoms do not improve after about one month of taking the medication, consult a physician or pharmacist. Drug interactions
