This medicine is used to temporarily relieve symptoms such as pain, itching, swelling (edema), and bleeding associated with anal fissures and hemorrhoids.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults (15 years and older): Apply an appropriate amount directly to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day or administer it rectally. For rectal application, attach the applicator to the tube and insert it rectally.

Children's dosage

Children under 15 years of age: Apply an appropriate amount directly to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in individuals with infected wounds. It is advisable for individuals with heart disease, hypertension, thyroid disease, diabetes, and difficulty urinating due to benign prostatic hyperplasia to avoid using this medication. Women who are breastfeeding should be cautious as this medication may transfer into breast milk, potentially increasing the infant's heart rate. It is safe to avoid using other ointments or creams that contain certain ingredients, as well as medications for blood pressure or antidepressants, during the use of this medicine. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and patients currently receiving other treatments should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If skin redness, swelling, irritation, or signs of infection occurs while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Allergic reactions such as rashes or itching may occur, and in rare cases, severe shock may develop, so immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is necessary if such symptoms arise. If symptoms do not improve after using the medication for more than 7 days, stop using it and consult a doctor. If bleeding occurs or symptoms of blurred vision develop, stop using it immediately and seek professional medical treatment. This medication is for use only in the anal area and should not be applied to the eyes.
