The recommended dosages are 2.5/20 mg, 2.5/40 mg, and 5/40 mg, and each dosage can be gradually increased based on blood pressure response. Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and neonate when taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. It is contraindicated in individuals allergic to this medication or its components, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with severe liver disease or aortic stenosis, patients with bile duct obstruction, patients on dialysis, shock state patients, and certain diabetic patients. In hypotensive patients with inadequate fluid or salt, there may be a risk of hypotension upon initial use, and their condition should be closely monitored. Appropriate measures should be taken if blood pressure decreases too much. Because of the possibility of rapid vascular dilation leading to hypotension, it should be used cautiously in patients with aortic stenosis, obstructive coronary artery disease, or congestive heart failure. Patients with impaired renal function may experience further deterioration of kidney function, and caution is advised for patients with impaired liver function as well. While taking this medication, various side effects such as dizziness, headache, hypotension, edema, dyspepsia, rash, etc., may occur. If any abnormal symptoms arise, consultation with healthcare professionals is important. In particular, it is advisable to avoid taking this medication with grapefruit juice as this can lead to excessive blood pressure-lowering effects. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant are recommended to switch to other antihypertensive medications that have demonstrated safety instead of this drug. Women who are breastfeeding should discontinue either breastfeeding or this medication, as there is a possibility that it may be transmitted through breast milk and affect the infant. It is not advisable to use this medication in children under 18 years of age, as its safety and efficacy have not been established. Older adults may experience decreased liver, kidney, and heart function, so they should start with a low dose and be prescribed with caution. In case of overdose, hypotension and cardiac arrhythmias may occur, requiring immediate treatment and blood pressure monitoring. This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent exposure to light and moisture, and kept out of reach of children. Transfers to other containers should be avoided.
