Hemostasis and improvement of subjective symptoms in gastric and duodenal ulcers and erosive gastritis, improvement of subjective symptoms in gastroesophageal reflux disease
This medication helps to stop bleeding due to gastric and duodenal ulcers as well as erosive gastritis, and is used to improve related subjective symptoms. It also alleviates subjective symptoms in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease. Additionally, it is effective in controlling bleeding that may occur after a gastric biopsy. Therefore, it is utilized in the treatment of various symptoms and disorders related to gastrointestinal bleeding.
For hemostasis and improvement of subjective symptoms in gastric and duodenal ulcers and erosive gastritis, and improvement of subjective symptoms in gastroesophageal reflux disease: As sodium alginate, typically 1 to 3g (equivalent to 20 to 60 mL) orally, 3 to 4 times a day on an empty stomach. If oral administration is not possible, it should be administered via a nasal tube (sonde). For hemostasis in gastric biopsy bleeding: Typically administer 0.5 to 1.5g (equivalent to 10 to 30 mL) of this medication.
This medication may occasionally cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea or constipation during use, so it is important to stop taking it immediately and consult a physician or dentist if such symptoms occur. When consulting, it is helpful to bring the attached document of this medication with you. Additionally, if gastric acid is deficient, the process of this medication transforming into a gel form may not occur properly, potentially reducing its efficacy, so caution is advised in those with hypochlorhydria.
Occasional symptoms such as diarrhea or constipation

This medication must be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering. It is recommended to store it at room temperature, specifically between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius.
