Relief of acute bronchitis symptoms
Acute bronchitis is a condition characterized by inflammation of the airways, primarily presenting with cough, phlegm, and shortness of breath. This medication helps relieve symptoms of acute bronchitis and reduce inflammation in the airways. Therefore, it is used for acute bronchitis.
Adults and children aged 12 and older: 1 tablet at a time, 3 times a day, taken with a small amount of water.
This medicine should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is also unsafe to use in patients who bleed easily or are taking anticoagulant medication. Avoid using this medication in patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions to any component of this medication should not take it. This drug contains lactose, so patients with genetic disorders such as lactase deficiency, galactose intolerance, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid it. It is advisable not to give this medicine to children under 12 years of age. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur. Rarely, bleeding symptoms such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds may appear. There may also be allergic reactions such as skin rash, urticaria, and itching; in very rare cases, severe allergic reactions like facial swelling, breathing difficulties, and low blood pressure may occur. Liver function abnormalities may manifest, so care should be taken regarding liver health, and there is also a potential for decreased platelet levels. If symptoms of liver damage such as jaundice, dark urine, severe upper abdominal pain, or loss of appetite occur during treatment, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor. If symptoms such as fever, breathing difficulties, or blood-tinged sputum persist for several days, stop taking the medication and inform medical personnel. It is advisable not to take this medication in a lying position. While no drug interactions have been reported with this medication, caution is needed when taken together with coumarin anticoagulants as it may affect blood coagulation. Safety has not been established for pregnant and breastfeeding women; therefore, it is preferable to avoid taking this medication. In case of overdose, side effects may become more severe; immediate consultation with a doctor is required if an overdose occurs. Keep this medicine out of reach of children and avoid transferring it to another container, as this may lead to accidents or quality degradation. The effects on driving or machine operation are not known.
