Precautions

This medication should not be given to patients who have had hypersensitivity reactions to its components. When using this medication, serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may rarely occur, so if symptoms arise, administration should be stopped immediately, and appropriate treatment should be sought. Additionally, leukocyte or platelet counts may decrease, so careful monitoring of blood status is necessary, and there is a risk of abnormal liver function, so liver health should also be monitored. If skin rashes, itching, or other allergic reactions occur, administration should be stopped, and neurological symptoms such as dizziness or drowsiness may also be experienced. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include dry mouth, constipation, abdominal bloating, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal pain, belching, and taste disturbances. If liver enzyme levels rise abnormally or if fever or rash occurs, the medication should be stopped immediately, and treatment should be obtained. Regular blood tests are necessary as leukocyte or platelet counts may change. Other possible symptoms include breast pain, palpitations, fever, facial flushing, tongue paralysis, cough, difficulty breathing, hair loss, menstrual irregularities, and swelling. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use this medication with caution as its safety has not been established, and nursing mothers should avoid breastfeeding due to the possibility of drug transfer through breast milk.
