This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of a cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 years and older – 20mL, 3 times a day after meals. Dosing intervals should be more than 4 hours apart.

Child dose

Ages 11 years and older – 13.33mL, 3 times a day after meals. Ages 7 to under 11 years – 10mL, 3 times a day after meals. Ages 3 and older

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so individuals who consume a lot of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Due to ingredients in this medication, serious skin rashes or allergic reactions may rarely occur; if you experience skin abnormalities while taking this medicine, stop immediately and consult a medical professional. Taking more than 4,000mg of the ingredient in this medication per day can result in liver damage, so be sure to check the total dosage when taking it with other medications. Especially, if symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, you must seek medical attention. Children under 2 years old should not take this medication unless in special circumstances and must follow a doctor’s guidance if needed. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and dosage regimen, and long-term use should be avoided. When children take this medication, a caregiver must guide and supervise them, and alcohol should be avoided while using this medication. Taking this medication may cause drowsiness, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. Interactions

Drug interactions
