How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children aged 15 years and older: Take 2 capsules orally after meals, three times a day.

Child dose

Children aged 8 to 14 years: Take 1 capsule orally after meals, three times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by those who are allergic to it or have experienced allergic reactions in the past. Additionally, patients with ulcers in the stomach or duodenum and children under 8 years of age should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take other cough or phlegm relieving medications, as well as cold medicines, while taking this medication. Women who are receiving treatment from a doctor or dentist, pregnant or breastfeeding, the elderly, and those with allergic tendencies should consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Individuals who have had drug allergy symptoms in the past, those with high fever, severe heart, liver, or kidney disease, and those with a history of ulcers in the stomach or duodenum should consult a doctor before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, headache, or blood-stained phlegm occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Serious skin conditions or anaphylactic shock, liver dysfunctions may occur rarely, so if such symptoms are suspected, immediate medical attention should be sought. If symptoms do not improve after taking for 3-4 days, stop taking and consult a professional. It is important to adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, and when administered to children, supervision by a guardian is necessary. Diarrhea or dry mouth may occur while taking this medication; if these symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and seek advice. This medication may temporarily increase phlegm production, and prolonged high doses may increase liver enzyme levels temporarily. Store out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep in a cool, dry place. Medicines should be stored in their original container, tightly closed, as transferring to another container can lead to misuse or degradation of quality.

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, paleness, and symptoms of shock (anaphylaxis)
  • Severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mucous membranes of the mouth/eyes, etc. (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome)
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy and other signs of liver dysfunction
