This medication is used for pain and muscle spasms caused by musculoskeletal disorders, such as shoulder-hand syndrome, adhesive capsulitis, and low back pain. It is also effective in treating spastic paralysis from neurological disorders and is used for various neurological conditions, including cerebrovascular disorders, spinal paralysis, cerebral palsy, and sequelae from spinal cord injuries. It helps to alleviate discomfort caused by these conditions and improve muscle tension, and is thus used for the treatment of muscle stiffness and pain accompanying musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

As Eperisone Hydrochloride, orally administered at a dose of 50mg, three times a day after meals. The dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergic reactions or severe muscle weakness. Patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should avoid this medication due to the lactose content. Patients who have had hypersensitivity reactions to the medication or have poor liver function should use this drug with caution. Rarely, symptoms such as shock, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, or blood abnormalities may occur; if these symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Various side effects, such as skin rashes or itching, insomnia, drowsiness, headaches, indigestion, urinary problems, etc., may occur, so it is important to monitor your physical condition closely. Driving or operating hazardous machinery should be avoided due to the risk of accidents caused by drowsiness or decreased attention.
