This medication helps improve blood circulation by inhibiting thrombus formation in major cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular infarction, and unstable angina. It is also used to prevent thrombus formation after coronary artery bypass surgery or percutaneous coronary intervention. It aids in reducing cardiovascular risk in high-risk patients with complex risk factors like a family history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, obesity, and diabetes. Therefore, this medication plays a crucial role in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, effectively improving patients' health.

Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who consume a lot of alcohol daily, so it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Children, particularly those under 14 years old with chickenpox or influenza, should use this medication cautiously due to the risk of Reye's syndrome, a rare and fatal condition. This medication inhibits blood coagulation, potentially increasing the risk of bleeding during surgery, so you must inform medical staff if surgery is planned. There are many drug interactions; thus, the risk of side effects increases when taken with anticoagulants, diabetes medications, and some anti-inflammatory pain relievers, so consultation with a doctor is necessary. During early and mid-pregnancy, the medication should be avoided unless absolutely necessary, and women planning to become pregnant should consult their doctor before use. Lactating women should avoid using this medication as it can be passed through breast milk for safety. Elderly individuals are at higher risk for side effects, and they should start at a lower dose and be monitored closely for changes in their condition. Since this is an enteric-coated tablet, care should be taken not to damage the enteric coating and it is recommended not to take it with other alkalinizing agents. Store out of reach of children and maintain quality by keeping it in the original container.
