This medication is used to improve dizziness caused by vestibular dysfunction.

How to take

Adult dose

1 tablet at a time, taken orally 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. Individuals who are allergic to this drug, those with incomplete cessation of intracranial bleeding, patients with myocardial infarction, Parkinson's disease, porphyrias, and those who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication. Additionally, there are patients who need to be cautious when using this medication. Individuals with extrapyramidal symptoms, a history of depression, elderly patients, and those with severe hypotension should use this medication with caution. This medication may cause side effects such as drowsiness, weight gain, nausea, vomiting, and skin rashes. Particularly, drowsiness may be severe at the start of treatment, so caution should be taken if used with alcohol or central nervous system depressants, and activities such as driving or operating machinery should be avoided. Taking this medication after meals may help reduce gastrointestinal irritation. Elderly patients and those with Parkinson's disease should only use this medication when the benefits outweigh the risks. For patients with impaired liver or kidney function, safety has not been fully confirmed, so it should be used cautiously. Pregnant women should avoid this medication as animal studies showed no teratogenic effects, but safety in humans is not certain. Breastfeeding women are also advised against using this medication due to unknown transmission through breast milk. It is considered safe not to use this medication in children under 4 years of age, as there is no experience with its use in this age group.
