Relief of excess stomach acid and heartburn
This medication is used to relieve digestive symptoms such as excess stomach acid, heartburn, and belching.
For those aged 16 and older, 1 tablet (75mg) once, and up to 2 tablets (150mg) per day can be taken.
This medication should not be taken by anyone who has had an allergic reaction to any of its ingredients. If you have difficulty swallowing food or experience pain while swallowing, or if you have vomiting blood or blood in your stool, you must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If heartburn symptoms persist for more than 3 months or are accompanied by dizziness, cold sweat, or lightheadedness, you should also consult an expert. If you experience pain in the chest or shoulders and shortness of breath, if chest pain occurs frequently, or if you have unexplained weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, you must consult a doctor before taking this medication. Individuals taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, those with a history of drug allergies, those with kidney or liver function problems, elderly patients, and those with a history of acute porphyria should consult an expert before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor before taking this medication, as it passes through the placenta, and nursing mothers should also be cautious since this medication can be transmitted through breast milk. This medication can interact with other drugs, and especially when taken with certain medications, dosage adjustments or discontinuation may be necessary, so consult your doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms do not improve or worsen while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult an expert. This medication should not be taken continuously for more than 14 days. If serious side effects occur, such as hives, rash, difficulty breathing, blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, heart problems, gastrointestinal symptoms, or neurological abnormalities, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor. This medication may mask symptoms of stomach cancer, so it is advisable to use it only temporarily for symptom relief. It is safest not to take this medication with certain antacids or alcoholic beverages. In case of overdose, appropriate treatment such as vomiting or gastric lavage is needed, and if necessary, blood dialysis can be performed to remove the drug. If you notice changes in your condition after taking the medication, consult an expert immediately, and elderly patients or those with chronic lung disease or diabetes should be cautious as the risk of pneumonia may increase. This medication may cause false-positive results in urine protein tests, so you should inform the tester. Keep out of reach of children and store in the original container sealed to maintain the quality of the medication.
