This medication is used to control blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy of amlodipine or valsartan.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose for this medication is one tablet once a day, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). For patients with mild to moderate renal impairment, dose adjustment is not necessary; however, it should not be administered to patients with severe renal impairment or those on dialysis. Precautions

This medication may cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy; therefore, it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. The risk of side effects may increase when this medication is used in conjunction with other blood pressure-control medications; therefore, consultation with a physician is necessary. Dizziness or fatigue may occur when operating machinery or driving, so caution is advised. In case of overdose, severe hypotension or cardiac arrhythmias may occur, so it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and report any abnormal symptoms to healthcare professionals immediately. This medication is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age due to insufficient safety and efficacy data. For elderly patients, the same dose as for adults is recommended, but caution may be necessary depending on their physical condition. During treatment with this medication, regular checks of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels are required to ensure there are no abnormalities. Women who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding must consult a physician before taking this medication, and it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy.
