Efficacy & effects

Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension through the combination of amlodipine and valsartan

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Essential hypertension is often treated with a combination approach when blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by either amlodipine or valsartan alone. This allows for a more effective reduction in blood pressure and decreases the risk of cardiovascular diseases. This medication works by dilating blood vessels to regulate blood pressure and reducing the burden on the heart. It is designed for safe use in patients with chronic hypertension. Therefore, the combination therapy of amlodipine and valsartan is used for the improvement of essential hypertension.
