Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist if taken by someone who regularly consumes more than three glasses of alcohol a day as it may cause gastrointestinal bleeding. This drug can pose a risk to the cardiovascular system; thus, individuals with heart disease or risk factors should exercise caution. Prolonged use may cause adverse cardiovascular reactions, requiring careful monitoring. Serious gastrointestinal problems such as bleeding, ulcers, and perforations may occur; therefore, elderly patients or those taking it long-term should be particularly cautious. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, or severe liver, kidney, or heart dysfunction should not take this medication. This medication should not exceed the recommended dose, and it is advisable not to be taken in conjunction with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. During breastfeeding, this medication may transfer into breast milk and cause serious adverse reactions in infants, so consideration should be given to stopping breastfeeding or discontinuing the medication. Those with blood abnormalities, bleeding tendencies, liver or kidney disorders, heart disease, hypertension, hypersensitivity, autoimmune diseases, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, elderly patients, pregnant women, or nursing mothers should consult a professional before taking. Care should be taken when using this medication alongside certain drugs (e.g., ACE inhibitors, lithium, diuretics, methotrexate, anticoagulants, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) as interactions may increase the risk of side effects. If serious symptoms occur during use, such as severe allergic reactions, blood abnormalities, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe skin reactions, liver dysfunction, respiratory distress, kidney dysfunction, or heart problems, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare professionals. The minimum necessary dose should be taken for the shortest period possible, and regular tests should be conducted to monitor for any abnormalities during long-term use. This medication should particularly not be used in late pregnancy and should only be used in the second trimester (after 20 weeks) in minimal doses for the shortest duration necessary, due to risks of fetal kidney dysfunction and oligohydramnios. Store this medication out of reach of children, and keep it in its original container to prevent misuse or deterioration.
