How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 and older, take 2 tablets three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Precautions

This medication may burden the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three drinks a day must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If you experience severe rash, blisters, or itching during treatment, stop taking the medication immediately and inform your healthcare provider. Since this product contains acetaminophen, caution is advised as taking it with other acetaminophen-containing medications may cause liver damage. Individuals with allergies to this drug or those who have previously experienced asthma should not take this medication. Infants under three months old, as well as those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, should also avoid its use. People with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should not take this medication. Do not take this medication together with other medicines that include cough suppressants, cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Individuals allergic to Yellow No. 4 should use this medication with caution. Infants with chickenpox or flu and children under 15 years old should consult a doctor before taking this medicine due to the risk of severe side effects like Reye's syndrome. Individuals with allergies, liver, kidney, or heart conditions, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women, should also consult a professional before use. If you experience rashes, itching, vomiting, dizziness, shortness of breath, or blisters during treatment, stop taking the medication immediately and consult your healthcare provider. If symptoms do not improve, further medical attention may be required. Children under two years old should ideally not use this medication unless prescribed by a doctor. Serious side effects

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor → shock (anaphylactic) symptoms.
  • Severe rash, blisters with high fever, skin peeling, pain in mouth/eye mucosa → mucocutaneous syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell syndrome).
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath accompanied by cough + fever → interstitial pneumonia.
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice).

Mild side effects

Rash, redness, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with oral medicines containing cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines (oral medications for rhinitis, anti-nausea medications, allergy medications).
