Adult dose
For gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers: The usual adult dose is 10 mg orally once daily, and may be increased to 20 mg once daily based on symptoms. Typically, treatment is for up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer 10 mg or 20 mg orally once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. If symptoms are not resolved, an additional 8 weeks of treatment with 10 mg or 20 mg twice daily may be given.

This medicine is used to treat gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers. It also alleviates the symptoms of erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease and is suitable for long-term maintenance therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is used in combination with antibiotics to treat patients with digestive ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori, and it is effective for conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome that involve excessive gastric acid secretion. This medication is widely used for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders and symptom improvement.

How to take
