This medication is used to relieve cough and phlegm symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 and older: Take 1 capsule three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age. People who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or any of its ingredients should avoid using it. Individuals taking or who have discontinued monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), such as antidepressants or antipsychotic medications, within the last two weeks should not take this medication. It is important not to take other cough suppressants or cold medicines, allergy treatments, or sedatives while taking this medication. Those with a history of allergies or who have experienced allergic symptoms like fever, rash, or itching due to medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Consultation with a healthcare professional is also necessary if there are diseases of the liver, kidneys, heart, or thyroid, or conditions like diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, or if one is elderly, weak, or has a fever. Pregnant or nursing women should definitely consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If cough arises from smoking, asthma, or chronic bronchitis, or if the cough persists for more than a week or recurs, it is important to consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, difficulty urinating, severe thirst, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and a healthcare professional should be consulted. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication 5-6 times, stop taking it and consult a doctor. This medication is generally not to be used in children under 2 years of age unless absolutely necessary and under medical supervision. It is very important to adhere to the proper dosing and administration. For children under 7 years of age, using a syrup formulation is recommended instead of this medication. Alcohol should not be consumed while taking this medication, and care should be taken to avoid driving or operating machinery as drowsiness may occur. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and kept in a tightly sealed container. Additionally, it is recommended not to transfer the medication to another container to maintain its quality.
