This medicine is used to supplement vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D, and E required during pregnancy, breastfeeding, physical fatigue, cases of weakened physical strength during and after illness, during children's growth periods, and in old age. It also has effects in preventing bone and dental development disorders or rickets. Additionally, it helps to prevent and treat iron deficiency anemia. Therefore, it is effective for maintaining physical strength, growth, and managing anemia.
Dosage and Administration
Adult dosage
For those aged 12 and older, take 1 tablet once daily.
Precautions
This medication can cause serious toxicity and death if a child under 6 years of age accidentally ingests a large amount of it, so it must be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children. Patients with high calcium levels in their blood (hypercalcemia), those with sarcoidosis, a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause, patients with kidney disease, and certain other conditions should not take this medication. Individuals with allergic reactions to any component of this medication, infants under 12 months, those with disorders of iron metabolism or kidney stones, and those with severe kidney failure should avoid taking this medication. It is important not to take this medication concurrently with phosphates, calcium salts, certain antibiotics known as tetracyclines, antacids, and drugs like levodopa. Anyone receiving treatment from a physician, individuals with oxalate uropathy, pregnant or nursing women, those with gastrointestinal disease, heart or kidney dysfunction, liver disease, a history of gout or kidney stones should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, itching, abdominal pain, cramps, fever, coma, abnormal heart rhythms, low blood pressure, or pulmonary edema occur, it is critical to stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare provider. Moreover, this medication may cause side effects such as changes in menstrual cycles, prolonged bleeding, increased risk of thrombosis, neurological symptoms, hematological abnormalities, exacerbation of peptic ulcers, liver damage, and edema, so caution is required. Dosage and administration must be strictly followed, as this medication can affect urine tests and blood glucose levels, and it should be avoided when taking some types of tea (like green tea, black tea, etc.). Store in a place out of the reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping it in a cool, dry location. Additionally, do not transfer the medication to another container, and take care to prevent misuse and maintain quality.
