Relief of cold symptoms (sore throat, cough, etc.)
This medication is used to relieve discomfort from various symptoms of the cold, including sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.
Ages 15 and older and adults: Take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.
Ages 8 to under 15 years: Take 1 capsule three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.
This medication may put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. During the use of this medication, severe skin reactions such as rashes or blisters may occur; if such symptoms appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. This medication contains acetaminophen, so care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage, and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or its components, have a history of causing asthma, infants under 3 months old, or those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should avoid taking this medication. It is safe to avoid using cough medicines, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, and antihistamines while taking this medication. Children under 15 years old who have had or are suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, allergic individuals, those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, the elderly, pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a professional before use. If symptoms such as skin rashes, itching, vomiting, or dizziness occur after taking the medication, the medication should be stopped immediately and a doctor or pharmacist consulted. In severe cases, shock, severe skin diseases, and asthma attacks may occur, so caution is required. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years of age, and if necessary, a doctor should be consulted. When taking this medication, strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency, avoid long-term usage, and ensure adult supervision when administered to children. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication, and be cautious when combining with certain medications as it may affect liver function. Store this medication out of reach of children, protect it from direct sunlight, and keep it in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container. It is advised not to transfer it to another container.
Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweats, pallor, severe rashes with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mucous membranes of mouth/eyes, yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), feeling very lethargic, sudden and severe headache, lightning headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis, significantly reduced urine output, severe body swelling with high blood pressure.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
Do not take this medication with oral medications containing cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, and antihistamines (oral medications for rhinitis, motion sickness, allergy). Consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, etc.
Do not consume alcohol while taking this medication.
This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent air or moisture ingress, and it is recommended to store it at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. Storing it this way will safely maintain the medication's effectiveness.
