Prevention of asthma and relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms
This medication helps to prevent asthma and control symptoms over a long period. It is also used to relieve the symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis.
This medication is taken once daily. Patients with asthma should take it in the evening. Patients with allergic rhinitis should determine the dosing time based on their condition. Patients with both asthma and allergic rhinitis should take 1 tablet once daily in the evening. Adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older should take 10 mg of montelukast orally once a day.
This drug is used for the treatment of asthma and allergic rhinitis. During treatment, neurological and psychiatric symptoms may occur; if you experience symptoms such as agitation, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, or suicidal thoughts, inform your doctor immediately. People who are allergic to this medication should not take it, and side effects such as fatigue, fever, abdominal pain, dizziness, headache, nasal congestion, cough, and rash may occur after administration. Adverse reactions have been reported in both children and adults, so caution is necessary. This drug is not intended for use during acute asthma attacks; alternative emergency medications should be prepared. In addition, patients with hypersensitivity to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should not use such medications while taking this drug. This drug should only be used during pregnancy when absolutely necessary, and caution is required during breastfeeding. Safety based on age has been confirmed through clinical trials, but always follow a doctor's instructions when taking this medication. In case of overdose, there is no specific antidote available, so general treatment to remove the drug from the gastrointestinal tract and observe symptoms is necessary. This drug is sensitive to light, so do not open the packaging until just before taking it, and store it out of reach of children. During treatment, do not arbitrarily stop or adjust other asthma medications and consult your doctor regularly while taking this medication.

This medication is sensitive to moisture and light, so it should be stored in a place that is dry and free from light. Store at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees, and it is important to keep the medication in a sealed container to prevent exposure to air.
