One of the ingredients in this medication, acetaminophen, can rarely cause severe skin reactions; if rash, red spots, or blisters occur, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. The pseudoephredrine component in this medication may sometimes cause severe skin adverse reactions such as fever, skin rash, or small blisters, so if these symptoms occur, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor or pharmacist. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen is 4000 mg, so one must be careful not to exceed this dosage or take it with other products containing acetaminophen. Those who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients or have a history of inducing asthma, infants under 3 months old, and those who have recently taken certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medication. It is also safe to avoid taking this medication along with cough suppressants, expectorants, other cold medications or antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with certain allergy predispositions, liver or kidney diseases, heart conditions, pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If after taking the medication symptoms like skin rash, itching, vomiting, difficulty urinating, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, severe allergic reactions, or difficulty breathing occur, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Especially, if symptoms do not improve after taking it five times or more, it is necessary to consult a doctor. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years old unless absolutely necessary under a doctor’s care. This medication must be taken precisely as directed regarding usage and dosage and should not be taken for an extended period. Supervision by a guardian is required when children take this medication, and alcohol should be avoided during this time, as drowsiness may occur; therefore, driving a vehicle or operating machinery should be avoided. In case of overdose, liver damage may occur even if asymptomatic; seek medical attention immediately. Keep this medication out of the reach of children, stored in a tightly sealed container away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place, and do not transfer it to another container.
