Efficacy & effects

Treatment of essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Essential hypertension is a condition where blood pressure is persistently high, putting strain on the cardiovascular system. This medication controls essential hypertension by acting to dilate blood vessels or lower blood pressure. This helps prevent damage to the heart or blood vessels and reduces the risk of serious complications such as stroke or myocardial infarction. It helps maintain stable blood pressure in patients, thereby supporting overall health. Therefore, it is used to treat essential hypertension.
