Chronic persistent hepatitis is a condition where inflammation occurs continuously in the liver, often with continuously elevated SGPT levels. This medication helps reduce liver cell damage and alleviate inflammation to improve liver function. Therefore, it is used to maintain liver health and alleviate symptoms in patients with chronic persistent hepatitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, 1 capsule per dose for adults, taken 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with complete biliary obstruction. Additionally, this medication contains lactose and should not be used in patients with genetic problems such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. It should be used with caution in patients with chronic active hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, hypokalemia, severe pancreatic disease, peptic ulcers, or gallstones. This medication may cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting; and rarely abdominal pain, constipation, heartburn, or feelings of discomfort in the stomach. Allergic reactions such as itching or rashes may occur, and rarely skin rashes develop, but this generally improves when antihistamines are used together. Transient jaundice may occur; however, symptoms will resolve if the medication is discontinued or if concomitant treatment for jaundice is provided. Rarely, systemic fatigue or dizziness may be experienced. If there is no improvement in symptoms after taking this medication for a long period, up to 8 weeks, or if abnormal symptoms occur, you should stop taking it and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Store in a safe place out of reach of children. It is advisable for pregnant women or women who may become pregnant to avoid this medication as it may harm the fetus. Additionally, caution is needed when used with oral diabetes medications as the effects of the diabetes medication may be intensified.
