Precautions

This medication may affect the nervous system, so if symptoms such as agitation, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, or suicidal thoughts occur during use, consult a physician immediately. This medication contains an artificial sweetener called aspartame, so patients with phenylketonuria should avoid taking it. Patients with a history of allergic reactions to this medication should not use it. This medication is not a treatment for acute asthma attacks; in case of rapid deterioration of asthma, a rescue bronchodilator must be available. Patients with hypersensitivity to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid using these drugs while taking this medication. This medication can rarely cause serious side effects such as vasculitis or eosinophilia, so if skin rashes, worsening respiratory symptoms, or heart problems occur, consult a physician. There have been no significant interactions reported with other medications; however, if taken with specific medications, follow the physician's instructions. It should only be used during pregnancy if necessary, and caution is required during breastfeeding. It is also applicable for children and the elderly, but appropriate dosage and usage should be followed according to age. There is no specific antidote for overdose; general treatment will be provided based on symptoms.
