This medication contains an artificial sweetener called aspartame, which should not be administered to patients with the hereditary disease phenylketonuria. The daily intake of aspartame should be limited to below the WHO recommended amount, and care should be taken not to exceed a maximum of 2.4 g per day for an adult weighing 60 kg. Patients who have allergic reactions to the ingredients in this medication or who have hereditary issues such as lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. This medication is not intended for treating acute asthma attacks, so suitable emergency bronchodilators should be kept and used during asthma exacerbations. This medication can occasionally cause serious side effects such as systemic eosinophilia or vasculitis, so doctors should carefully monitor the patient's symptoms. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult their doctor before taking this medication and should only use it when necessary. Both children and the elderly can use this medication, but appropriate dosages and methods of administration should be followed, taking into consideration the safety and efficacy based on age. This medication is sensitive to light, so it should not be opened until just before use, and should be taken within 15 minutes after preparation.
