How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken once daily; asthmatic patients should take it in the evening, while allergic rhinitis patients should determine the administration time based on their condition. Patients with both asthma and allergic rhinitis should take 1 tablet once daily in the evening. This medication should be taken 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals.

Child dose

Children aged 6 to 14 years should chew 1 tablet of 5 mg once a day. This medication should be given 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals.

Precautions

This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, which is broken down into phenylalanine in the body. Therefore, patients with phenylketonuria, a hereditary condition that requires restriction of phenylalanine intake, should not take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so patients with hereditary issues like galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Various side effects such as fatigue, headache, abdominal pain, cough, and rash may occur during treatment; if symptoms worsen or persist, consult a doctor. Asthma patients should be aware that this medication is not for treating acute asthma attacks; appropriate emergency medications should always be ready during acute symptoms. This medication should not be taken with aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and patients with hypersensitivity to aspirin should exercise caution. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before taking this medication and should only be administered if necessary.
