How to take

Adult dose

The recommended adult dose is one tablet of Valsartan 80 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg once daily, to be taken with a small amount of water regardless of meals. Valsartan 160 mg/Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg is used when a prescription for blood pressure lowering is required.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy.
