Precautions
This medication may cause liver damage in individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day; consultation with a physician or pharmacist is mandatory. The acetaminophen component of this medication may very rarely cause serious skin reactions; discontinue immediately if skin rashes or allergic symptoms occur after taking it. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000mg, and taking this medication with other medications containing acetaminophen may increase the risk of liver damage. As this medication contains pseudoephedrine, it may cause severe skin reactions such as fever, skin rash, and pustules; if such symptoms occur, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Individuals with specific allergies or conditions, such as those who have experienced drug hypersensitivity or asthma, infants under three months of age, individuals with certain hereditary lactose intolerance, and patients with severe hypertension or kidney disease should not take this medication. Additionally, this medication should not be taken simultaneously with cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, and antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic constitution, liver, kidney or heart disease, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those on specific medications should consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. If symptoms such as rash, vomiting, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist; if symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 doses, seek medical attention. It is generally recommended that children under two years of age do not use this medication, and if necessary, a physician's consultation is advised. During administration, follow the prescribed dosage and duration strictly and do not use it for a prolonged period; it should be administered to children under the supervision of a guardian. Avoid alcohol during use and be cautious of potential drowsiness when driving or operating machinery. Due to the risk of side effects when taken with specific medications, consultation with a physician is necessary, and if side effects are suspected, discontinue immediately. Store in a tightly sealed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture, and keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; do not transfer to another container.
