Relief of symptoms such as allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria
This medication is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. It also alleviates symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria and assists in the treatment of dermatitis and eczema accompanied by itching. It is mainly effective for alleviating allergy and skin-related symptoms.
Adults and children aged 6 and above: Take 1 tablet (5 mg of levocetirizine hydrochloride), once daily regardless of meals. Adjust dosage based on kidney function. Normal kidney function (eGFR ≥ 90): 1 tablet once daily. Mild renal impairment (60 -< 90): 1 tablet once daily. Moderate renal impairment (30 -< 60): 1 tablet every other day. Severe renal impairment
Children aged 6 and above: Take 1 tablet (5 mg of levocetirizine hydrochloride), once daily regardless of meals.
This medication should not be used by patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should also be avoided in patients with severely impaired kidney function or those undergoing dialysis. It is safest not to use this medication in pregnant women, women who might become pregnant, and nursing mothers. It should never be administered to infants under 1 year of age, and children under 6 years should only receive it in liquid form, not as tablets. Patients with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance should avoid this medication due to the lactose it contains. Patients with impaired kidney or liver function, and elderly individuals should use this medication cautiously as it may remain in the body longer. After taking this medication, neurological symptoms such as drowsiness, headache, and dizziness may occur, so caution is required when driving or operating machinery. The symptoms may worsen if taken with alcohol or other central nervous system affecting medications, so it is better to avoid this combination. Patients with urinary function issues should be careful as this medication may exacerbate urinary retention. Pregnant or nursing women should not use this medication, and dose adjustments are necessary for children and the elderly. This medication may affect the results of allergy tests, so it is advisable to discontinue it before testing. Overdose may cause drowsiness or agitation, and there is no specific antidote, so treatment should be symptomatic.

This medication is sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a container that does not allow light in. It should also be kept at a temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius to be safely used.
