Prevention of vitamin B1 deficiency and improvement of the nervous system (neuralgia, peripheral neuritis)
This medication is used to prevent and treat vitamin B1 deficiency. It is also used as a supplement when there is insufficient intake of vitamin B1, for example, in conditions like hyperthyroidism, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and in situations of intense physical labor. It is effective in treating Wernicke's encephalopathy and beriberi heart disease. It also helps with various symptoms suspected to be related to vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorders, such as neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, peripheral neuritis, and myocardial metabolic disorders. However, indiscriminate use over long periods is not recommended. It is used to improve various symptoms and diseases through vitamin B1 supplementation.
As thiamine, the usual dose for adults is 5 to 100 mg per day, administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously. The dosage may be adjusted as appropriate according to the symptoms.
This medication is in a glass ampoule injection form, so care must be taken when opening the ampoule to avoid glass fragments mixing with the injection. Extra caution is necessary when using it for children or the elderly. This medication should never be used if there is an allergy to it or its components. Patients with a history of drug allergies should use it cautiously. Serious adverse reactions such as shock may occur rarely during use, and if symptoms such as a drop in blood pressure, chest pain, or shortness of breath appear, administration should be stopped immediately and healthcare personnel notified. Additionally, allergic reactions such as skin rash, nausea, vomiting, oral inflammation, diarrhea, headache, and frequent urination may occur rarely, and if symptoms occur, administration should be discontinued. When administering the injection, it is advisable to inject as slowly as possible to reduce vascular pain. Also, care must be taken not to reuse the injection once it has been used. When opening the ampoule, the mark should face upwards, and the bottom should be gently pressed to break it cleanly, ensuring that foreign substances do not mix, and the ampoule opening should be wiped with an alcohol swab. Finally, this medication should be stored out of the reach of children and should preferably be kept in its original container, as transferring it to another container may lead to mishaps or degradation of the medication's quality.

This medication is sensitive to light, so it should be stored in an opaque container to protect it from light. Additionally, it should be kept at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees, in a shaded area away from direct sunlight.
A colorless to light yellow transparent aqueous injection in a glass ampoule, with no odor or a slightly peculiar odor and a bitter taste.
