Improvement of gastrointestinal diseases such as treatment of gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers, relief of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
This medication is used for the treatment of gastrointestinal ulcers including gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer. It also alleviates the symptoms of erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease and is used as long-term maintenance therapy. For patients infected with Helicobacter pylori, it is administered in combination with antibiotics to enhance therapeutic effect. Additionally, it helps to control excessive gastric secretion symptoms, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. This medication is effective for the treatment and symptom relief of various gastrointestinal diseases.
Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: Usually, 10 mg is administered orally once daily, and it may be given up to 20 mg once daily depending on symptoms. Gastric ulcers are treated for 8 weeks, and duodenal ulcers for 6 weeks. Erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: 10 mg or 20 mg is taken once daily for 4-8 weeks, and if not resolved after 8 weeks of treatment, 10 mg or 20 mg may be taken twice daily as an addition.

Various side effects may appear in different body parts such as the heart, gastrointestinal tract, nervous system, respiratory system, muscles and joints, skin, eyes, and urinary system, so consult a doctor immediately if any abnormal symptoms occur.
